Have you ever taken a moment to observe all that you've achieved – your personal successes, career milestones, and the relationships you've cultivated – and yet felt disconnected from both your authentic self and the people you love?

Perhaps you're struggling to keep up with life's demands - performing at work, navigating parenthood, pouring energy into your relationship, making time for yourself, and the list goes on... It can be easy to look around and wonder how everyone else seems to be staying afloat.

You want to be fully present in this season of life - not just barely scraping by. Individual therapy is a process that can help you make sense of how you are managing your life and what you need to do differently to take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Maybe you are currently in a relationship, or you are wishing to find a partner, or you are just contemplating what a healthy relationship would entail for you. Regardless of where you are in the partnering process, I want to help you cultivate a secure relationship with yourself.

There is nothing too messy or too complex to bring to the therapeutic process.

I encourage you to bring your whole self into our sessions, and I promise to foster an environment where all parts of you are not only acknowledged, but also embraced without judgment. Collaboration is at the core of my practice, encouraging you to be actively engaged in the healing process. We will work together to deepen emotional awareness, enhance personal connections, and create lasting positive changes.

My Approach

As a therapist, I have found the most success adopting an approach that integrates neurobiology into the heart of relational work. While cognitive therapy, (therapy focused on your thoughts) is valuable, I believe that a comprehensive understanding of our psychological state involves tapping into the wealth of information our body provides. I am dedicated to educating my clients about their nervous system and its influence on overall well-being. Together, we will explore the impact of past and present relationships on your emotional landscape.

I can help with:

  • Becoming a better communicator

  • Relationship concerns

  • Parenting

  • Stress management

  • Anxiety & Depression

  • Life Transitions (divorce, retirement, relocation, career change, becoming a caretaker)

  • Dating

  • Self-esteem & Confidence

  • Grief & Loss

  • Healing from Trauma

  • Behaviors that feel compulsive or out of control

  • Anger management

  • Self-exploration

  • Sexual health

How It Works

Step 1

Contact me to schedule an initial 30-minute consultation. In our meeting, we will discuss your wishes and goals for therapy, your presenting concerns, previous therapy experiences (if applicable), and any questions you may have for me about the therapy process or my therapeutic style. It’s not easy to seek out therapy, but it’s one of the best investments we can make for ourselves.

Step 2

In our first few sessions, I will conduct a personal history assessment to gain a better understanding of your life’s history and the specific issues you are facing currently. I will create a customized treatment plan for you and we will work together to ensure that we are all on the same page about our goals for therapy.

Step 3

Through our regular weekly sessions, you will work towards your goals. Starting therapy does not necessarily mean that something is “wrong” or “broken”. Rather, it shows that you value your mental wellness and are willing to put in the effort required to create the life that you desire.
